“Brilliant... a great example of clear and effective theatre for young people!”

Ardtornish Primary School

It is one hundred years in the future and the world’s water supply is in crisis. The earth is still in recovery from the Great Water Wars of the late 21st Century. In a bid to avert a global catastrophe, agents Smith and Jones are sent back in time 100 years to collect as much information about water as they can.

From their time and space module they observe the social, cultural, scientific and environmental significance of water, including: Archimede’s Principle, the Hydrological Process, ocean life, images of water in popular culture, the water treatment process, typical water use by suburban families.

As well as being performed at over 350 SA schools, The Water Show has been performed at schools and arts centres across VIC (presented by Regional Arts Victoria), toured to Auckland (NZ), SA Museum, SA Maritime Museum, Fitzroy Gardens and also has been part of festivals including the National Science Festival, Science Alive, Warrnambool’s Fun 4 Kids and Science Week.
