SA Children’s Book Week Theme 2016: AUSTRALIA - Story Country

“AUSTRALIA - Story Country”

The Book Show 2016

NOW touring to schools and libraries in term 3, 2016

The theme of Children’s Book Week in 2016 is Australia - Story Country.

Splash Theatre Company will select stories and books relating to this theme and

weave them into an entertaining and stimulating performance suitable for primary

school students.

Our three professional actors will perform many different characters and situations in a highly physical and energetic style to engage students across the age spectrum.

Splash Theatre has been making and touring “Book Shows” across SA and Victoria since 2000 and each year presents around 70 performances to students from over 80 schools.

Full details of the books and stories included in the performance will be advised to participating schools in term 2. A Teacher’s Resource kit is also provided to schools with suggested activities to complement the performance.
